We headed out to Louisville, Kentucky, for the 2020 NVP Product Expo, held at the Kentucky International Convention Center (KICC). The MB Quart crew that ventured out included Brian, Rob, and Chad.

Parts Unlimited is the world’s largest distributor of aftermarket accessories in the powersports industry and is owned by LeMans Corporation headquartered in Janesville, Wisconsin. Parts Unlimited sells to over 12,000 dealerships worldwide and continues to expand its market penetration with its sister companies, Parts Canada, Parts Europe and Drag Specialties. The company has over 120 factory direct outside sales reps in the US with over 80 dedicated to off-road and UTV. We trained this group in five sessions on Friday showcasing the new RZR and X3 vehicle specific kits.

Overall, the show was a BIG HIT. All of the sales reps at Parts Unlimited are in the right business and the team is all in for educating their dealers to start buying, which is fantastic. The energy and enthusiasm was engaging and the response and interaction was strong with open dialogue about how best to engage their customer base with these products. Event preparation went very smoothly and the chemistry between the dealers, MB Quart employees, and sales representatives was very good.

On the show, Brian Sherman, Vice President of Product & Marketing, commented, “In five sessions, we trained over 120 factory direct outside sales reps (located in the US), including over 80 dedicated to off-road and UTV. We showcased them the new RZR and X3 vehicle specific kits and the overall response and interaction were strong with open dialogue about how best to engage their customer base with these products. It was an incredible event, full of people enthusiastic about the UTV category, and anxious to have an audio solution that can be installed and set up without a PhD! The event prep was on-point and it was truly a great team effort!

On Saturday and Sunday the reps walked over 2500 of their dealers through the NVP trade show where we exhibited our products alongside some of the top brands in the powersports business.

Brian continued, “Chad, Rob, and myself provided demonstrations of the audio systems in our X3 and RZR and explained key features like ease of installation and opportunities for increased profit on labor. The reaction from the dealers was positive with several placing kit orders at the show. Overall, it was an incredible event full of people enthusiastic about the UTV category and anxious to have an audio solution that can be installed and setup without a PhD!

Chad mentioned, “I also had many dealers that have installed other competitor systems for the RZR and X3 mention that they liked how we had spent time on the R&D side with the OEM fitment and look. They loved how it was easily upgradeable if a customer wanted to start off small and could build later. This show was a MAJOR win and was a lot of fun talking to the reps and dealers with the excitement.”

Rob added,Robert Ledford was the man. He was bringing by the biggest powersport dealers in the country and he knew why our kits were better than our competitors. But overall, the show was super engaging and everybody was asking all of the right questions. Being able to do the training program was a HUGE success with both the sales reps and MB Quart employees co-educating at the same time. This is one of those shows on the calendar we MUST attend twice a year.”

Brian concluded with, “Hats off to Chad for getting our displays and vehicles to the event safe and sound. The event prep was on-point. Not one item had to be shipped to the show. It was all loaded in the trailer ahead of time. Truly a great team effort!

This show was a MASSIVE HIT and with all of this positive response and energy, it’s going to be crucial to attend and mark down on the MB Quart calendar BOTH expos (the Louisville and Madison). Attending this show displayed a pivotal response in the industry that has a special buzz going around for the R&D side with OEM fitment and look.

We are counting down the days until Madison. Check out some more of the shots captured from the show below!
